TJ had guts. All his High school buddies knew it, and so when JR taunted him about the oncoming train, saying: "TJ - I don't think you’ve got the guts to jump that train!" - every one of the kids there knew what was coming next.
Four days later - at TJ's funeral - his friends were pleased to see his tombstone simply read, "The kid had guts".
Rewind: Now imagine the same scenario - only this time TJ uses his God-given wisdom to respond to JR’s taunting in a different way: "JR, I discern the velocity of this train is too high, and would therefore make any attempt to board extremely hazardous. I have decided that your suggested course of action would not be prudent, at this time."
After someone explains to JR what TJ said (TJ is known for his vocabulary skills – JR not so much), he responds: "I knew you would chicken out... ‘cause you ain't got the guts!"
TJ grew and became a great worker in his Lord's Kingdom on earth - due to his extraordinary wisdom (and might I add, fabulous vocabulary). And as you may have guessed, JR's tombstone simply read, "The kid had guts".
